Fred Frailey
Fred Frailey is the editor of Kiplinger's Personal Finance magazine. He joined the staff in May 1987 and oversees the creation of each issue of the magazine.
Previously, Fred was an assistant managing editor at U.S. News and World Report, where he worked for 16 years. He has also worked for the Chicago Sun-Times, the Kansas City Star and the Sulphur Springs Daily News Telegram (Texas). He is a graduate of the University of Kansas, an avid railroad buff and author of six books, including How to Pick Stocks, published by Kiplinger Books.
