You wouldn’t guess it from the stubbornly high unemployment rate, but some big companies are actually hiring. And we’re not just talking about low-paying, entry-level positions. Some of the jobs boast six-figure salaries.

We asked the folks at Indeed.com, a job-postings aggregator, to draw up a list of employers with the most openings that pay estimated annual salaries of $50,000 or more. We then cross-referenced those names against Standard & Poor’s 500 index, which ranks companies by stock market capitalization. The result: a list of 12 large, thriving companies that have the most $50,000-plus job openings right now.
